European Youth4Media network e.V.

We give young people voice through digital media
European Youth4Media Network e.V. is giving young people a voice through digital media. It is a European association of 52 organisations from 32 countries working in the field of community media and civil society.
The member organizations form the active European network of  communities, youth institutions, radio and TV stations as well as  culture- and media- centers, being places for communication and civic engagement. Together, the youngsters of the European partner institutions organize cross-border networks of youth media work. They promote political and intercultural dialogue by means of audiovisual media. We have a wide range of activities on local as well as on the European level.

Mitra France

Mitra France aims to foster intercultural understanding and responsiveness to social, ethnic, linguistic and cultural diversity through non-formal education. We create awareness among people about media and digital literacy, Sustainable Development Goals, critical thinking and increase level of active citizenship among people with fewer opportunities: unemployed, ethnic, national minorities, refugees and low skilled people.

Petit Pas Aps

The social promotion association Petit Pas Aps was founded in Trani, Puglia (IT) in 2015, by a group of professionals, trainers and youth leaders motivated by the desire of improving their community, promoting social initiatives inspired by democracy, equality, and pluralism. Over the years, it has become a structured associative reality, with a large number of associates and volunteers who have embraced our mission by recognizing the importance of having inclusive, peaceful and just societies. Petit Pas Aps goal is to enhance the level of knowledge and skills of our community regardless of gender, social background, cultural or educational background. Its aim is to equip the local and surrounding community with the right knowledge and skills that will enable them to access the labor market and increase their chances of progressing in the same.  To achieve these goals, Petit Pas Aps is in contact with important universities, schools and associations. Petit Pas staff has many years of working experience, business and professional contacts with private and public organizations. The skills and knowledge learned by its staff thanks to the involvement of Petit Pas association in Erasmus + projects, in the experiences of intercultural dialogue, as well as in training courses and social volunteering, have also meant that the territory and organizations active in the social field, they came into contact with new realities and with different ways of conceiving Europe.


INDEPCIE

INDEPCIE is a Spanish organisation dedicated to the design, implementation, development and evaluation of training programs in the areas of coaching, emotional intelligence and soft skills. Besides of its work with companies, public institutions or different associations, INDEPCIE has a deep commitment with training at the highest level, especially with those unfavoured, low-skilled and young people. Focus is on fostering competences such as self-leadership, employability, education, personal and profesional development, media and digital literacy or critical thinking through informal education.

Eesti People to People

Eesti People to People is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation registered in Estonia in 1997, with activities since 1993, as a chapter of People to People International NGO. The purpose of People to People is to enhance international understanding and friendship through educational, cultural and humanitarian activities involving the exchange of ideas and experiences directly among peoples of different countries and diverse cultures. The main topics for NGO staff members as trainers are media, critical thinking, gender, inclusion, global education, European citizenship and European values. Eesti People to People is also an active sending organisation and sends individuals and groups for youth exchanges and training almost every month. The NGO is a member of Youth4Media European Network.


The Bennohaus

The Bürgerhaus bennohaus, operating under the district carrier Arbeitskreis Ostviertel Association (AKO), is a non-profit/non-governmental organisation and community district house that specialises in culture, arts and media, with a focus on project management, (digital) media education, interdisciplinary (digital) media training for inter alia youths and further education programs for all. The AKO is socio-cultural, multidisciplinary, cross-sectoral and cross-generational. Its personnel consist of professional staff, media apprentices, interns, long-term freelancers and volunteers, working in six different departments: Projects, (Digital) Media, Continuing Education, Event Management & Room Rental, Family, Children & Youth and Administration.
The Bennohaus has 20+ years experience in multi-disciplinary digital media education, conveying ICT skills as well as small & large-scale international (youth) projects, often in collaboration with the European Youth4Media Network Association. It has received funds and grants from inter alia the EACEA, Foundation EVZ, Robert-Bosch-Foundation, DPJW (German-Polish Youth Office), BPB (Federal Agency for Civic Education), Jugend für Europa (German Agency for the EU-Programme Youth in Action) and the City of Münster. The Bennohaus is a cultural and pedagogical institution in line with the Continuing Education Act of the Land of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) and is an accredited institution of continuing education.
The Bennohaus | AKO is a vibrant and inclusive centre dedicated to fostering creativity, cultural expression and media literacy within its community, and its mission is to empower individuals of all ages and orientations to explore, engage and excel in the culture, arts and media sectors.

K.A.NE

Social Youth Development, K.A.NE., is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation active in the fields of Education, Youth, Social Inclusion, Vocational Training, and Culture. K.A.NE. was founded in 2008 in Kalamata, Greece. The organisation’s main objectives are to foster youth motivation for active citizenship. This mission is achieved through the strategic deployment of digital and media education, effectively empowering the younger generation to engage actively within their communities. Simultaneously, our organization dedicates itself to tirelessly supporting the personal and professional development of individuals, achieved through a comprehensive array of educational activities. Our meticulous emphasis is on addressing the needs of those who are at risk of social exclusion, young people, and adult and vocational learners. These meticulously designed programs harness the transformative potential inherent in digital and media tools to facilitate profound personal growth and empowerment.
Within our local community, K.A.NE. takes on a distinguished role as an advocate for digital literacy, youth work, and media education, actively promoting youth mobility, volunteerism, and the cultivation of lifelong learning. We are profoundly committed to fostering a sense of social contribution and solidarity within our regional sphere, underpinned by a deep commitment to combat discrimination, construct inclusive projects, and champion the principles of equality and intercultural understanding. All these initiatives are conducted through a focused and strategic lens on digital and media education, leveraging our extensive experience in these domains to empower and enrich the lives of the local community’s youth and adult members, facilitating their growth and advancement in the dynamic digital landscape of today.
